Mustafa Orkun Pala was born in 1999 in Ankara/Turkey. At the age of five, He started ear training at Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory. In 2005, he began to study violin with Ferhat Gülmehmet at the Bilkent University Music and Performing Arts Faculty Music Preparatory School. In 2008, he played Vivaldi A Minor 2 Violins Concerto with Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra as soloist. After 2010, he has continued his violin education with Elif Enacar. In 2011, He played J. S. Bach E Major Violin Concerto with Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra as a soloist at the 23rd of April, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day Concert. Between 2014 – 2017 academic years, He gave numerous Chamber Music Concerts and recitals in Turkey. He also participated in Beethoven Fest program held in Bonn in September 2014-15 academic year. And in the same year, He started his composition studies with Yiğit Aydın. He gave concerts in many foundations and international festivals . In 2015, He performed at Lodz Music Academy Concert Hall in Poland. Between 2013 – 2018, he actively participated in the masterclasses of such violinists as Alessandro Cappone, Alexander Markov, Andrej Bielow, Misha Nodelman, Ellen Jewett, Rebekka Hartmann, Önder Baloğlu and Alexander Vinnitsky. Between 2016-2017, he continued his education with Irina Nikotina in Bilkent. In 2017, he won the soloist auditions of Eskişehir Symphony Orchestra and performed C. Saint-Saens Violin Concerto No. 3 as soloist. Later in the summer of 2017, He entered the Hochschule für Musik and Theater Leipzig “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig / Germany and started working with Franck Reinecke, the violinist of the Vogler Quartett, who has been performing over 25 years. Orkun Pala is still actively giving recitals, chamber music concerts and orchestra concerts in Germany and Turkey.
